Breeding

You grow your own butterflies in the butterfly garden. Above you can (only on our website!) Between March and September choose to have the caterpillars sent by us. We then arrange the order and payment of the caterpillars and inform you about the shipment from the breeder.

If you want to arrange this yourself, you will receive the coupon with code. You can enter this on the website at the supplier. You pay the shipping and packaging costs via PayPal or credit card (GBP 2.99). The caterpillars are then sent directly by the breeders of Insect Lore.

Shipping and care

Usually you get 5 fresh caterpillars and the special food sent by our breeder at home in about a week (in some cases this may take a little longer, depending on the culture). Now you can really get started. You can grow butterflies from March to September.

First the caterpillars get their own food (supplied) so that they can grow well. They then hang on their heads in crystal-like spun cocoons. In the final phase they turn into beautiful butterflies. Observe them for a few days and then release them.
