This school package contains products to introduce you to insects and is specially intended for schools, childcare, childminders and agencies aimed at children. Learn more about insects in a fun and educational way. 
 

Contents of the package

The package contains the following products and parts:

- Gel ant farm including ants.
- Bugzzz insect enclosure including nymph.

Ant farm gel

Let the ants do their work and watch how a complete structure is created! The ant farm gel is a high-tech living environment for ants. Based on the technique NASA used to study life in a weightless environment. It is completely self-supporting, the beautiful transparent gel serves as food, moisture and shelter. The only thing you need to add to the ant farm (16.5 x 15.2 x 3.2 cm) are the ants themselves.

Become part of nature and witness the wonder of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. With your nose on top!

Shipping and care

The school package is in stock and immediately available. Typically, you will receive 5 fresh caterpillars and the special food from our breeder in about a week (in some cases this may take a little longer, depending on the culture). Now you can really get started. Butterflies can be breeded from March to September.

First, the caterpillars are given their own food (provided) so that they can grow well. They then hang upside down in crystal-like spun cocoons. In the final phase they develop into beautiful butterflies. Observe them for a few days and then release them.

Grow your insects in a good home

A nice large and super transparent shelter where your insects can be clearly seen. A well-ventilated lid with the logo ensures the best conditions for your new pet. You can house multiple animals in this unique enclosure. Particularly ideal for growing praying mantises, stick insects, stick insects, snails, worms and ladybugs.

Specifications

We supply the bottle including a ventilation lid. The design can be completed at your own discretion. The photos provide a clear example of the possibilities. Decorative stones and artificial plants are available via our website. We supply the decorative stones in anthracite or yellow (depending on stock).

Handy 

This breeding cage is a super handy cage for stick insects, praying mantises, butterflies and caterpillars. It is a lightweight cage made of sturdy mesh in a small size: 30 cm high, 30 cm wide and 30 cm deep.
