Anti escape oil
Application
Anti escape oil is to be placed on the upper edges of an ant farm (just a few centimeters), so that the ants can not escape. Application can be done by using a piece of cotton.
Operation
The ants do not have a grip on the (good) anointed mixture, they slip away and therefore remain on the place you want to keep them. Only to be used on smooth surfaces (plastic / glass) without corners. In corners ants can get a grip and the oil will not be useful.
Composition
It is a mixture based on talcum powder, it is not a 'real' oil. The composition ensures that it can be used for a prolonged period (up to one year) without replacement. With a large colony or high humidity it is more often necessary to clean it and to apply again.
